We are seeking reliable, motivated and values-aligned Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team based in Alex Hills.
This opportunity is ideal for a positive, proactive communicator with a can-do attitude who can motivate, engage and support people with diverse needs. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a tremendous amount of patience, strong emotional intelligence, and proven personal care experience.
The Permanent Part-Time (PPT) positions require flexibility across a variety of shifts, including sleepovers, weekends, mornings and afternoons. We are seeking team members who are willing to work across all clients and are committed to building strong, respectful rapport with each individual.
What shifts are available?
• Morning shifts
• Afternoon shifts
• Day shifts
• L&L shifts
• Sleepovers
• Weekend shifts
• Opportunities to pick up additional shifts
What experience is required?
• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting people with disability
• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification)
• Strong experience in personal care and providing emotional support
• Experience supporting people with complex care needs (highly regarded)
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team
Key Duties:
• Supporting residents to achieve their NDIS goals and build independence in daily living skills
• Providing personal care and physical support in line with individual support plans
• Supporting residents emotionally and promoting wellbeing
• Supporting community access, appointments and recreational activities
• Implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
• Transporting clients as required
• Working collaboratively within a team environment
• Using technology and digital systems to maintain accurate documentation

We also require:
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
• Current or willingness to obtain:
– Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
– NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
– First Aid & CPR
– National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work)
– Open Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
